PLHIV Network has been founded in 2007 and through active engagement positioned itself as a integrative part of HIV/AIDS community in Serbia presenting   strong voice of PLHIV society in general.
PLHIV Network will be mean of communication for PLHIV organization for exchange of experiences, the way their services are operating, sharing gained knowledge in services and consult on ongoing problems. This could contribute the increasing of  good practices thus PLHIV will have better services on their disposal.
As the PLHIV Network was recognized by all National bodies dealing with HIV/AIDS, we are by the opinion that further capacity development investments should be more emphasized.
 This project has for its purpose to strength present capacities (organizing the Network meetings, covering office expenses and basic infrastructure of the Network) so further development could be achieved as the part of future projects and activities, and to improve communication between PLHIV members.
Continuation of processes which already have started: strengthening cooperation between PLHIV organizations, improving communication within the PLHIV Network and with decision makers, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, foundations, international cooperation will be more tackled in the year of 2008.
Advocacy for PLHIV rights, pointing out the problems which PLHIV is facing with, praising good practices, active cooperation and exchange of information regarding services they are conducting, and expending PLHIV Network members are also recognized as a important role of PLHIV Society therefore it will be emphasized more through future activities.        
Through democratic way of functioning PLHIV Network elected its representatives for the Republican AIDS Committee and Country Coordination Mechanism of GFATM. Their representatives are obliged to disseminate information gained on the meetings on the national level so PLHIV society is now more involved in active decision making processes. PLHIV Network was also included in all national HIV/AIDS Campaign conducted in the year of 2007 contributing with their capacities and logistic support. Barring in mind that PLHIV Society is addressing the public in general through PLHIV network, improving and strengthening of the capacities of the Network is crucial.

The activates planned to be conducted , covering the whole aspect of AIDS preventive activities by PLHIV network are realistic to be implemented in the period of minimum one year but due to the financial restrains project is limited to the period of 6 months.

Activities:
Activities are focused on 6 meetings, representing Network in CCM, Republic commission for HIV, marking Candle day and First of December. Exchange of information between members, sharing good practices and addressing problems facing PLHIV jointly are regular activities which are conducting in the Network.
